august original pen & ink #039
This is an original drawing & story that Brian wrote post-inauguration, as a reminder that we're all always making a world together. It's a simple thing that's easy to forget with all the noise.
(& even if some of us don't want to make a new world because it works well enough for our purposes, the rest of us can jump right in together & make one anyway & there's not a lot more to it than that. Other than the work. Which we'd have to do anyway, even with an old world...)
The story & drawing are pen & ink on archival card stock. The reverse has a different draft version of the story with a drawing.
Signed & dated 2017 in pencil on the bottom front.
It's not currently in print or book form
Everything is a whole lot easier if you remember that this world is exactly how we made it & if it's not working we can actually just get together & make a new one. Reverse: It's actually pretty funny when you see which people are the ones who hope you forget that this world is exactly how we made it & if it's not working, it's just time to get together & make a new one.
