shipping in the United States

Rates are determined based on the total value of the order being placed.

$0.00 - $35.00 in cart = $5.00 flat rate USPS ground shipping or if you prefer, you may choose $8.00 USPS priority mail

$36.01 - $99.99 in cart = $10.00 flat rate USPS ground shipping or if you prefer, you may choose $12.00 USPS priority mail

$100.00 USD and up in cart = Free shipping either USPS priority mail or UPS ground shipping, depending on weight of package

standard international shipping to Canada

Rates are determined based on the total value of the order being placed. Please note that there may be additional customs or VAT charges incurred by the country of destination.

$0.00 USD - $39.99 USD in cart = $18.00 USD flat rate USPS shipping

$40.00 USD - $89.00 USD in cart = $22.00 USD flat rate USPS shipping

$90.00 USD & up in cart = $26.00 USD flat rate shipping either through USPS or UPS depending on weight of package.

 what is your return/exchange policy

We will accept returns within 30 days of your purchase, and the item must be in re-saleable condition. We will ask you to cover the cost of shipping to return the item. Once received, your original payment will be credited. 

If you would like to exchange an item, the item you’re returning must be in re-saleable condition. We will ask you to cover the costs of shipping, both to return the original item & to ship out the new item. 

Please note - if this is a custom order, we cannot accept either a return or an exchange unless we've agreed upon another alternative.

what if I haven't received my package

If you haven’t received your package there could be a number of reasons.

Check the tracking log with the number we send out to you when the package first ships. It might have been delivered to the wrong address (in which case your local post office will be the ones to address this). Call us if you cannot resolve the issue.

If the delivery service claims your package was delivered but you still don’t have it, we will re-send out the item, but will ask you to cover the cost of reshipping.

what if my package arrived damaged or is not what I ordered

If there’s a problem with your order, contact us immediately.

If the wrong item was shipped – we will take care of the cost to reship the correct item.

If your order arrived damaged, send us a picture so we can see if it was packed incorrectly or if the shipping service was clunky in handling. Either way, we will cover the cost of reshipping.

where are your products printed

Important question. Thanks for asking!

All our paperstock is archival quality, on 100% recovered cotton fibres. The cardstock comes from a company out of Massachusettes, and paper for prints comes from a company in Texas.

At this time, we print everything to order, right here in Decorah, Iowa. In the loft/studio. By hand. By us. And if we're on the road, we're printing out of the back of our Subaru Forester!

Books are printed with soy inks, by a company out of Minnesota (members of the green initiative).

how long will it take to receive my order

At this time, there are two of us. Doing everything. So you can imagine we’re in motion all the time! 

We do our best to get your order out in 1-2 business days. During a book release or the holidays, give us 3-5 days at the very, very most. Once we have your order processed, we’ll send out a tracking number so you know when to look for it!
